My Story
From the earliest days of my neuroscience research, I’ve been fascinated by the question: how does the brain shape the way we live our lives? That curiosity has guided my entire career — across research, clinical practice, consulting, teaching, and speaking. Whether working with individuals, couples, organizations, or global audiences, my mission has always been the same: to relieve suffering, unlock potential, and promote resilience.
Early in my career, I specialized in addiction and recovery, uncovering how stress and life associations play a central role in relapse. My research expanded into biofeedback and neurofeedback — powerful tools that help people regain control over their physiology and accelerate healing.
Another facet of my work has been in peak performance — informed not just by science, but also by my own experience as a collegiate handball champion. As part of the elite sports psychology group “The Mind Room,” I’ve trained Olympic and professional athletes, helping them master the mental and emotional aspects of competition.
In recent years, my focus has expanded to resilience and leadership. I developed the comprehensive 9 Pillars of Resilience model to help people thrive in the face of stress, aging, and complexity. Through summits, global training programs, and now my Quantum Leadership podcast, I’m advancing a vision of leadership that equips individuals and organizations to rise to today’s challenges.
At the heart of everything I do — whether teaching, writing, or coaching — is the desire to meet people exactly where they are. Resilience is not just about surviving. It’s about reclaiming the ability to adapt, grow, and live with greater vitality and purpose.
